“If there is a poor man with you, one of your brothers, in any of your towns in your land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart, nor close your hand from your poor brother; but you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend him sufficient for his need in whatever he lacks.” – Deuteronomy 15:7-8

As a Baptist congregation, we recognize that the collective and individual interests of our members and non-members are important to our ability to share meaningfully in the worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our covenant commands that “with tender sympathy” we should “bear one another’s burdens and sorrows.” In response to that requirement, we seek to provide a Christian support system for each other.
